In the JWU/Williams semifinal meet, there were some major upsets that paved the way for the JWU win.  The dual started with the top two wrestlers at 125.  Jay Albis the No. 1 ranked wrestler in the region beat Matt Morris 8-0.  Albis continues his impressive freshmen season and is clearly the guy to beat at 125.  Ferinde won at 133 for JWU and then started a string of 3 upsets.  The first for Williams as Gabe Corrochano beat returning National Qualifier Justin Colon 6-4.  JWU countered with Thomas Grippi beating National Qualifier Jake Savoca by Major decision 15-5.  Then at 157 Joey Gaccione of JWU beat three-time All-American Jorge Lopez of Williams by fall in 5:35.  Lopez was in control of the match but Gaccione was able to secure a leg ride and pin Lopez.  Williams would win 3 of the last 5 matches but it would not be enough.

The championship match was not much different then the others for RWU who dominated all day.  In the finals they beat JWU 27-8.  RWU won 25 of their 30 individual varsity matches on their way to winning their third Dual Championship in a row.  RWU saw No. 1 ranked in the Region and the country David Welch beat No. 2 ranked Khamri Thomas 6-1 at 197.  JWU got another huge win by Joey Gaccione who beat No. 6 ranked nationally and returning national qualifier Ty Herzog 15-0.
